According to many Filipinos, condominiums are the best type of housing in the market today. This is because of its many benefits that many other types of housing, particularly the simple house, lacks. However, though condominiums have significantly grown in the market, particularly because of its popularity as well as with its demands, a number of Filipinos are still opting to buying a house.
Though the number of Filipinos today have shifted their attention to owning a condo unit of their own, majority of Filipinos today are still looking to buy a house of their own. There are many reasons as why houses are still a very popular type of housing in the Philippines. One of this is the understanding that houses are only type of housing that can shelter a family for decades.
Houses for Filipinos
Condominiums have became a very popular type of housing in the Philippines today because of its many benefits. One of which is its location, while the new types of condominiums are known for their amenities include swimming pools, gyms, recreational parks, and playgrounds that residents can freely but exclusively enjoy.
Most of these advantages and benefits usually lacks in buying a house. Though there are Philippine homes which are known to have their own swimming pools indoors, these types of houses are usually very expensive compared to condominiums (most of these houses are known as mansions). However, houses do have its own advantages compared to condominiums.
Houses, for many Filipinos, are the only type of housing that can provide them with the ancestral home they are looking for. Although there are other types of housing that can provide them with permanence of residence compared to apartments, houses are still the only type of housing which can truly give the sense of permanence that can last for decades.
Another reason why Philippine homes are still popular is because for many Filipinos, this type of housing are the only type of housing that can provide their growing family and children with the right environment. This is because condominiums are mostly found in busy business and commercial districts.
However, a number of new condominiums in the Philippines have been introduced in the Philippines which is said to provide the right environment for a growing family. These types of new condominiums are known as condominium complexes. However, another reason why houses are still popular even among these condominium complexes is because of its affordability, particularly when new and affordable Philippine homes are being built across Metro Manila and in neighboring provinces.
