Creative Memories Review! Should I do it!

Creative Memories was founded in 1987 by Rhonda Anderson and Cheryl Lightle in Minnesota. The company has a worldwide presence and boasts of 90,000 consultants. It specializes in creating keepsake scrapbook albums and has recently launches a suite of scrapbooking software, considering how everything is going digital.

Creative Memories is quick to mention that the products are meant to be sold and used by women so if you are a stay at home mom looking for work at home opportunities, this could be fine start. While you may use internet marketing to leverage your business, Creative Memories mostly works through home gatherings and meeting, where you invite your friends and family, do product introductions and demonstrations and then basically, just wait for people to buy stuff from you or become a consultant in your downline.

The problem with the Creative Memories plan is that it is a stairstep breakaway plan. What this means is that in the beginning you have hire at least one recruiter and make X sales. After this, you and your consultant work together and make a percentage off every new recruit. At one point, you become large enough to break away from your mentor. This increases your sales because there is no one above you. The problem with this plan is that as your recruit's incomes start growing, they will also break away from you and you will be in a continuous cycle of recruiting.

To become a consultant, you will have to go to their website and choose an existing consultant in your area. This consultant will become your mentor and teach you everything about the business. As a new consultant, you make 30% to 50% on commissions on every sale. As your level increases, so does your payout.

Most MLM experts feel that there are better direct selling plans than that of Creative Memories, especially because the company still functions on old marketing strategies. Also, with 98% of all American homes investing in some kind of direct selling opportunity, Creative Memories may not work for you if you are not a people's person or if you do not have enough marketing skills.

Obviously, you can break through to your market with the help of your mentor. You must trust them because when they are helping you grow your business, they are also growing yours in return. People who become mentors have already spent a considerable amount of time in the multi level marketing business and know a lot about the market. They can teach you tips that will help you create a residual income, although probably not from the Creative Memories compensation plan.
