Former Vice President Al Gore is catching a lot of heat, with none of it related to global warming. First came the end of his personal "Love Story", a 40 year marriage with high school sweetheart Tipper, then accused of having an alleged affair with Laurie David the ex-wife of Larry David for the past two years, and now the alleged sex scandal with a massage therapist in Portland hotel makes headlines.
Al Gore (born March 31, 1948, 12:53 PM, Washington DC) is a Cancer ascendant with ascendant degree at 9 degrees 22 minutes. The birth time is rectified to 12:44 PM based upon the past major events in Al Gore’s life. In my opinion a person can face criminal charges when the person is going through the main period and sub period of planets which are significators of 8th house, 12th house and the Badhaka house through constellations and house ruler ship. If these planets are also connected with the 5th house at same time then these charges could be related to sexual assault or love affairs.
Al Gore is in Rahu main period since December 1992, which is coming to an end in December 2010. Rahu is in 10th house in Mars sign, and is aspected by 6th house and 10th house (placidus house system) lord Jupiter from 6th house, which gave him the position of Vice President of United States during Rahu / Rahu period (dec 1992 to Aug 1995) and then Rahu / Jup period (Aug 1995 to Jan 1998). Since Al Gore is a Cancer Ascendant, so the 11th house becomes the Badhaka house and the lord of 11th house is Venus. Natal Rahu is in Venus’s constellation in Al Gore’s astrology chart. So Rahu also becomes a strong Badhaka planet for Al Gore, and Rahu is aspected by the 8th house lord Saturn by its 10th aspect. So Rahu is strongly connected with the Badhaka lord Venus, and 8th house lord Saturn. The alleged massage incident with Massage therapist took place when Al Gore was in Rahu main period Venus Sub period and Saturn sub sub period in Oct 2007. Transit Saturn was transiting the Cancer sign, right on Al Gore’s ascendant, not a good time at all to get massage.
At present Al Gore is in the last year of Rahu main period which is coming to an end in Dec. 2010. The sub period of Mars in the main period of Rahu is operating in his life until Dec. 2010. Mars although it rules good house that is 5th house, but is in the constellation of Mercury the lord of 12th house, and Mars is closely conjunct Saturn which rules the 8th house. Rahu the main period lord is transiting in Venus’s constellation (badhaka planet) in Sagittarius sign until Sept 29th, 2010, and then the Rahu main period will come to an end in Dec 2010. The eclipse on June 26th fell very close to the natal position of ascendant lord Moon, when the alleged sexual assault case was re-opened again. In Nov 2010 transit Rahu will go over the ascendant lord Moon in Al Gore’s chart. So the time is very sensitive for Al Gore until Dec 2010, when the Rahu main period will come to an end. Jupiter Main period will be a much better time for Al Gore, as Jupiter rules the 6th and 10th house in his case. Last time in Rahu / Jupiter period, Al Gore became Vice President of the United States for the second time back in 1996. If Al Gore can survive this period until Dec 2010 when the Rahu Mahadasha will end, then he will be fine. But the period from now until Dec. 2010 does not look very good for Al Gore.
