Why Doesn't Everyone Do This?
The foundation of this business is a solid education. It is a lot cheaper to get your training from a home study system or live event from someone that has been there as opposed to JUST WINGING IT. The most expensive education can come from JUST WINGING IT. The real estate business can be brutal if you don't know what you are doing and fail to get a solid education.
Smart real estate investors invest in their most valuable asset... themselves.
But what I have found is that one of the hardest things for a real estate investor to do is to be able to communicate their real estate education to the outside world. This is important to help establish credibility.
You see, creative real estate investors typically don't get a diploma or certificate for their real estate education. When you are dealing with home sellers or potential private lenders it is very difficult to prove yourself to them.
So how do we solve this? Well, Office Max sells certificate paper and I can make my own certificates!
Then what? Well the tool I use to establish credibility is a Credibility Kit. A credibility kit will include not only your education certificates but also a page on you, a page on your company and some other key information.
Let me share with you what a student of mine, Diane Bucy just did.
After she had read my Private Lending Made Easy Premium system, she contacted my office to ask if she could have a certificate that stated she had been trained by me to use private lenders for real estate deals. I was more than happy to make one for her, I thought is was one of the best credibility building ideas from a student I had heard in a long time.
To top it all off, she then attended my recent Where to get the Money boot camps in Dallas, Texas. Everyone that attends all four days gets a certificate of completion for the boot camp as well.
Now all she has to do is put these certificates into a credibility kit and hand it out to house sellers and potential private lenders. Think of the positive impact when they see all the certificates for the training we receive. Talk about POWERFUL...
