We sometimes make weight loss much too challenging. Even a healthy weight loss diet basically comes down to burning calories than you take in. And you can lose weight quickly with a healthy weight loss diet by following these three easy steps: increase some things, decrease other things, and get yourself a road map.
- Increase The Following:
Water: You should drink 8 glasses of water a day as part of your healthy weight loss diet. Water is an extremely effective appetite suppressant, helps build muscles, hydrates the skin, flushes out toxins, helps digestion and nutrient absorption. So it packs a punch.
Fresh Foods: Fresh fruit, vegetables, fresh meat or fish, everything will taste better and you will feel more satisfied when you eat.
Exercise/Activity: Exercise is essential to any healthy weight loss diet plan. But sometimes we avoid this part because we think of it as something we HAVE to do. Find a fun activity you enjoy doing that gets you moving. You can still add a 20 minute walk and 20 minutes of strength building, but if you also have fun activities that get you up and moving, you will feel better and lose more weight.

Processed Foods: Processed foods have ingredients you can't even pronounce. These added ingredients include preservatives, trans fats, saturated fats, larger amounts of sodium and sugar, all to make the food last longer and taste better. Processed foods have also been implicated in a host of chronic diseases and health conditions that are currently plaguing the nation. Stick to freshly prepared foods and that will keep you on your healthy weight loss diet.
Alcohol: Yes there are many stories on the benefits of wine, but the fact is alcohol contains sugars and calories. So if you are trying to lose weight, either cut it out completely or keep it to a minimum.
- Get Yourself A Road Map
Goals: Start with setting some reasonable goals and decide on how you will reward yourself when you reach that goal. Don't use food as a reward, stick to other things, such as something special you have wanted, or someplace you want to go or do. Pick things that will motivate and excite you.
