It may cost you more but only in the short term. Keeping your customers happy will result is them referring you to others. Especially in those early stages when you need to make that initial buzz, hook your customers up. Make them want to talk about you.

Affiliate marketing businesses are easier in the fact that they minimize risk. So you don't need a warehouse full of product, shipping stations, and the like. But everything else is like any other business you will come into contact with. You need to work very hard to keep your customers happy. You need to set yourself apart from the others in your line of business and protect yourself against the worst.
