Lot's of people choose to go back to college after years in their chosen careers. Some of these people are looking to switch careers, others want to simply advance in their chosen profession. For some, going back to college is a difficult experience, it's costly, takes a long amount of time, and can sometimes feel like more of a step backwards then a step forwards.

There are a lot of lists out there that talk about the benefits: better pay, more confidence, expanding your mind, rebuilding your life from a stronger foundation, etc. They almost always focus on the amazing things you can do after you graduate. It's difficult to go back to college, forcing yourself to learn. However, the life of a student can be very fulfilling and expanding your skills and knowledge is a great idea. Remember, your wall gets jealous when you tell it about the doctor's office, he wants a diploma too.
