Cleaning your vehicle is one of the most important things to do in maintaining the exterior and interior look of it. There are a lot of ways cleaning your vehicle, one is just by bringing it to a car wash shop and let them do the work; while others prefer cleaning it by them self, but sadly not all of them knew the proper procedure of cleaning it.

You should also know the proper tools needed in cleaning, like water hose or pressurized washers. These things will make your work faster and much efficient. Also make sure that the water that you will use is clean. Tap water will do.

Using car shampoo and gel will help in removing harden dirt and will retain the shine of your paint finish. Avoid using detergent or dish washing soap in cleaning your vehicle. It will make the paint finish dull and leaves white power substance after drying. I highly recommend using wash and wax shampoo because it will help in retaining the shine of your paint without stripping off any added wax.

Make sure to use cloth that is made of microfiber instead of using regular rug on wiping your vehicle body parts. Chamois will be of very big help in drying your vehicle after rinsing it. It can absorb 10 times of its weight so it will cut half of your time in drying the wet surface.

Use a tire brush on cleaning your tires and rims; make sure to pick a soft bristle to avoid scratching your precious rims.

Here are some basic steps in cleaning your car.

  1. Rinse your car from top to bottom. And give priority in cleaning your tire well for mud would be hidden in the inner sides.

  2. Prepare your shampoo, make sure to read the proper preparation steps to avoid over washing and for best result.

  3. Start washing your vehicle from top to bottom, that is, from the roof going to the wheels to further avoid spreading the dirt all over.

  4. Brush your tires and rims, make sure to use some car shampoo to soften the harden dirt.

  5. Rinse your vehicle, again from top to bottom.

  6. Use a Chamois to dry your vehicle it will make your drying procedure faster.
