Apartmentpostings.com explains why apartment landlords offer free rent.
AUSTIN, Texas – August 5, 2010 – ApartmentPostings.com explains how vacant apartment unit won’t produce any income for a landlord which is a bad news for landlords; good news for you. The threat of months going by without tenants paying rent for whatever reason is something a landlord wishes to avoid all together
Every apartment complex has apartment homes that are located in a bad location within the community. These apartment homes could be next to a busy street, dumpsters or just a long walk to and from any available parking. The reasons are endless but the results are the same…free rent to get the homes filled.
When you’re out looking for an Apartment to rent ask the apartment leasing agent about the different apartment homes that their having a hard time leasing. You might find the unit exceptional, after all it’s the inside of the apartment that’s most important and when it comes with free rent or a reduced rental rate you win big.
How leasing a two bedroom apartment can cost less than a one bedroom.
Another reason landlords offer free rent is because certain floor plan, lets say a two bedrooms apartment hasn’t been leasing and now they have several units available. This is when you might not only find that you can get some free rent but even better is you might be able to lease a larger two bedroom unit for the same price or even less then what the landlord is offering on a one bedroom. The trick you have to remember is to ask the leasing what’s available on all types of units, not just the size or type of apartment you think you need because what you think you know can cost you money.
Bottom line is to always ask the apartment leasing agent what offers they have on all types of apartment units regardless of what you think you might need. Try it you’ll be amazed at what you find out.
