We dont believe in on-the-job training. We only hire caregivers with experience providing care for seniors. Visiting Angels was founded in Baltimore, MD in 1992, and has grown to more than 400 individually owned offices throughout the United States, Canada, and Korea, with additional offices opening soon in Australia and throughout Europe. We must be doing something right!

Wouldnt you like to participate in selecting your own caregiver?

Only you can choose whats right for you. We know it is never easy to bring someone into your home to provide care. We strive to make the experience as positive as possible and want you to participate in the selection of your own caregiver.

Wouldnt you like to determine your own schedule?

We believe that remaining independent doesnt mean you have to do everything yourself, but that you decide what needs to be done, and when. Visiting Angels will provide services on whatever schedule suits your needs and desires. With us, YOU ARE IN CHARGE.

Wouldnt you feel better knowing your caregivers are bonded, insured, and thoroughly screened?

Visiting Angels is licensed by the State of Florida as a Nurse Registry, and is bonded and insured. In addition to requiring extensive references, we perform a national county-by-county criminal background and motor vehicle records check on every applicant. Most agencies only do a state check.

Wouldnt you like us to be in regular, personal contact with you?

Visiting Angels continuously monitors our caregivers with a unique system of personalized contacts through telephone checks and surprise in-home visits. We also make weekly reports to family members. In addition, our TouchPoint system allows family members to monitor their loved ones condition and activities online 24/7.

Wouldnt you like services to be tailored to your specific needs?

No two people are the same. Whether you need respite care, in-home care, hourly part-time, full-time, overnight, live-in, or care at an assisted living or nursing home, Visiting Angels has an Angel that is just right for you. We tailor the program of care based upon your needs and are flexible to make changes as situations change.

Our state-of-the-art TouchPoint technology allows 24/7 online access to our caregivers daily reports about your loved ones condition, activities, visitors, mental and emotional state, etc. This feature presents daily information as well as reports, charts, and graphs showing conditions over time.
