The greatest transfer of wealth, we've been warned about it since about 2005, and is now the worst kept secret around and we are living through the wost economic period since the 1930's. Unfortunately it will not end with a whimper, like the past recessions. It will end in mass debt liquidation, and ultimately in hyperinflation... and the demise of fiat currencies.

What makes the greatest transfer of wealth troubling is the continued hemorrhaging that's taking place in the job market. the real unemployment rate in the U.S., or the U-6 figure, is already at 17% and headed much higher. Using this figure employment is headed to at least 22% in the U.S. and we are seeing the same scenario play out globally.

The jobs that are disappearing now are the same "multiplier effect" that turned a stock market bust into a decade-long downturn in the 1930's. It also happened in Japan recently during their "lost decade" that saw their stock market drop 80%. Today's record setting jobs losses could have the same affect here, which is why the administration is so desperate to jump-start the economy.

What they don't understand is that the cure they are experimenting with (record levels of debt) is even worse than the disease. By the time they figure this out it will be too late. Huge debt levels + NEW huge debt = insolvency and bankruptcy.

You can be assured that during this, greatest transfer of wealth, we'll hear additional promises of global support from governments and institutions around the world, followed by additional bailouts spiraling into the trillions of dollars. But the writing is on the wall and the jig is up. These flawed polices are simply not sustainable. There are investment strategies the average person can apply to survive this world wide financial disaster, but time is running out. Make sure you have made the necessary changes to your portfolio and lifestyle. Gold and silver will be perceived as the ONLY currencies in the future. Again, the only question is not if, but when.
