At one point or another, we may suffer from tiredness or fatigue as a consequence of our hectic and stressful modern lifestyle. It's perfectly normal to feel weak and tired occasionally. However, if you experience persistent tiredness and are unable to perform your day-to-day tasks and activities energetically, then it might indicate a more serious problem. You may want to find a remedy or seek help for tiredness immediately.
Good thing there are simple, practical and natural ways to treat and beat tiredness. Of course eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, exercising, and getting good quality sleep should be on top of the list. But there are much simpler and easier methods that can cure your tiredness right away. With these, you don't need to consult your doctor, attend a yoga session, buy a gym membership, take a pill, use exercise equipment and spend your hard-earned cash.
Try Diaphragmatic Breathing
Also known as belly or deep breathing, diaphragmatic breathing is considered the most natural and healthiest way of breathing. Take a deep breath through your nose, hold it then let it out slowly. Doing this several times will help you have a clear and fresh mind and a more relaxed and energetic body.
Take a Walk
Make sure you take at least 15 minutes of your time each day to exercise or do any physical activity. Walking is a good exercise so you can start by walking around your house, garden, village, then at the park.
Laugh a Little, Laugh a Lot
One great remedy or help for tiredness is laughter. When you laugh, your endorphin levels increase and this gives you that good feeling. Read some jokes online, watch a comedy show on TV or watch funny videos on YouTube.
Listen to Good Music
Throw on your headphones, pull out your iPod, or turn on the radio and listen to your favorite tunes. This not only prevents boredom and tiredness, it also helps boost energy and productivity levels.
Wear Bright-Colored Clothes
If you wear bright, happy colors, you project a cheerful and light mood to other people and they project the same mood towards you. If you wear dark, sad colors, you project a dark and sad attitude towards others, so they show you the same attitude.
Be Positive
Keep an optimistic and upbeat outlook in life. Too much worry, fear and other negative emotions can drain you. If you think positive thoughts and feel nice and light, you will keep your energy level up.
