Yeast intolerance may not be as popular as lactose intolerance but it is very much happening. Yeast intolerance happen to people who produces Candida more than what is usually expected. This yeast like fungi inhabits moist portions of your body like intestines, vagina and mouth. Candida balances out the beneficial bacteria your body produces in most cases. It is when they grow or increase rapidly beyond usual levels when they start becoming a problem. Once this happens, thrush or candidiasis happens to the infected person. Often doctors associate different disorders like itching, irregular bowel movement, soreness, abdominal discomforts and such to severe Candida infections in the stomach and intestine areas.
An individual's health and diet have already been speculated as the possible causes for candidiasis. The fungi thrive on bread, biscuit and other simple sugars. They also grow on fermented products like cheese, yogurt and even alcohol. People who are on top of their health can control Candida from getting out of hand, but illnesses like viral infection can weaken your body's immune system thus fungus has the chance to grow at a rapid pace. Antibiotics can kill the fungus but it will also kill the helpful bacteria that your body needs. Aside viral infections, the rapid growth of Candida can be attributed to hormonal balance, improper nutrition and stress. Too much dieting means your body will lack the nutrients needed to ward off sickness and will weaken your immune system making it difficult for your body to fight the growth of excess yeasts. One symptom for candidiasis is the carving for food and drinks rich in sugar and yeast. You can stop candidiasis by avoiding food laden with yeast and sugar. You can also take Nystatin, an anti-Candida medicine that doctors often prescribe to patients suffering from that medical condition.
Other symptoms that people with yeast intolerance suffer are excessive excretion of gas and bloating. People suffering from candidiasis may also experience constant headaches and diarrhea. Other people might even suffer from coated or furry tongue and mouth ulcers. To completely remove the chances of being yeast intolerant is to develop a diet that is totally yeast free until you have successfully eliminated all symptoms associated with yeast intolerance. So that means no more beer, caffeine rich food and drinks like coffee and carbonated soft drinks, cheese and yogurt. You may only indulge in those forbidden food and drinks once your body started producing the right amount of yeast needed by your body, In most cases, it means that you will be avoiding your favorite food for a period of three months or more or until you are no longer yeast intolerant and re-introduce yeast rich food in your body in small doses.
Yeast intolerance is definitely one painful, frustrating and embarrassing problem that you are better without but it happens to be one problem that you can easily fix without seriously hurting your pockets. The solution really lies in avoiding yeast free food for a period of three months and so.
