With the third quarter of 2010 coming to an end. The US. economy is still in the doldrums, leaving many people, the employed and the unemployed wanting to earn extra income to make ends meet.

In this day an age, as individuals, we are struggling to find full time work, that’s a given. What is frustrating, is that people are having a hard time finding odd jobs, a second job or part time income that will help out on those small nagging bills.

It does not take a lot to get your online business started. A simple computer that has decent speed, preferably cable or broadband speed. You may also set up a website, but that is not required, especially when selling products for Ebay or Amazon, they will provide you with your own website page or pages.

I advise that you do some research on what types of services, or products that your company will be engaging in. Maybe you can use your experience at your full time job and turn it into a part time job from you home, but on a smaller level.

You can also do the same if you are unemployed, maybe you can start a business from home, that you learned from a job where you were previously laid off. I have called up companies and offered my services for free so I could gain experience for myself, so maybe I could use those experiences to start my own business.

Writing Articles: A lot of people are uncomfortable with writing articles, you can provide your services to your customers, also to various websites

Artist/designer: I understand this job will take talent, but if you are an artist, you can make good money, people are always looking for artist to draw, paint or do logos for their company.

Baking goods: I met up with a local owner of a food market and sold baked goods in his store, we negotiated a deal on the cost and earnings. It worked out pretty good, sadly the economy changed all of that, but there are places that will accept your products, believe it or not.

Fundraisers: Fundraising, is another way you can earn income, selling shopper cards with various discounts can bring in extra cash, plus its for a good cause.
