Why You SHould be Blogging for Business: 3 Proofs

If you're still not blogging for your business and still marketing your

business the hard way, here are some quick proofs that could give you a

wake up call.

The survey mentioned here was conducted by Hubspot on 2010, where they asked 231 business owners / professionals familiar with their company's marketing strategies.

Proof #1: Survey showed that 97% more inbound links for companies that blog.

One of the best ways to get more FREE traffic is by building links to your site. Generally, the more links your site gets, the more traffic you'll enjoy.

Having 97% more links could translate to a considerable increase in your traffic, which could potentially affect how many MORE sales you could make (that is, if you actually have offers that can be bought online).

Proof #2: Social Media works for both B2B and B2C companies

Whether you are in B2B or B2C, blogging for your business had been

shown to work tremendously well in affecting the bottomline directly.

The survey Hubspot conducted on 2010 showed that :

57% of B2C Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from blogging. 43% of B2B Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from blogging.

68% of B2C Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from Facebook. 33% of B2B Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from Facebook.

51% of B2C Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from Twitter. While 38% of B2B Businesses surveyed have acquired a customer from

Twitter.

Here's the kicker: You can't really leverage Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIN to its full potentials for your biz if you don't have a business Blog!

Proof # #3 : 55% more website visitors for companies that blog

From the same survey, it was shown that Companies that Blog get 55% more visitors.

Can you imagine the difference it will make to your business if you get 55% more traffic?
