Motivation To Lose Weight
Let me start off by saying this:
Staying motivated is TOUGH.
Now, having said that- staying motivated doesn't have to be that hard. It's a decision, and a belief. A belief in yourself and your dreams. You aren't going to wake up everyday feeling pumped and ready to go. You aren't always going to be happy with your situation in life. You aren't always going to satisfied and joyful about the relationships in your life. Simply stated, you aren't always going to be motivated to lose weight
If you REALLY want to lose weight, and lose it quick than you're going to need to do a few things. First off, you're going to need to have a good "sit down" with yourself. During this sit down you are going to need carve some REAL goals into yourself. You're going to have to set FIRM beliefs- which brings me to my next point.
Beliefs. A belief is one of the most powerful things you have as a human. A belief can create or destroy you- and the people around you. If you have a strong belief- a belief that you deserve to lose weight, that you CAN lose weight- than you WILL lose weight. You will be a success story. That's the simple truth of it. You already posses the power to change. You posses all the tools you need. The only three things you'll need besides that are 1. Motivation 2. Knowledge and 3.Truth -all of which I'm going to help you gain.
You need to see the truth from the crap. In this day and age there is an influx of knowledge to such an extent that you can actually drown in it. Knowledge is great, and it's essential- but too much of it can kill you, and keep you from ever achieving. You need to separate the "wheat from the chaff".
Let me give you an example.
Have you ever wanted to lose weight soo bad that you were literally willing to do almost ANYTHING to achieve it? I know there's been times in my life that I would have swam accross the ocean, or died trying- just to get something I really wanted. Just to taste success...
This may seem like a good thing- but in reality it can hinder you.
If you've ever come to the point of wanting to lose weight so bad that you decided you were going to take drastic steps to do so, than you know what I'm talking about. It's one of those moments where you simply say "THAT'S IT! I'm tired of this! I'm not going to eat ANYTHING for the next 3 days!" Although that is a very noble and bold action- it is actually going to HURT you.
While it's good that you are that motivated, that fed up- that you're willing to take serious steps- it isn't actually a good idea.
Here's why: When you stop eating, your body goes into "starvation mode". Your body wants to survive- so it's going to take every step necessary to do so. Instead of losing weight- your body is going to HOLD ONTO all your fat. It's going keep it as long as possible so you don't die. So instead of losing weight- you're going to gain weight. It's counter intuitive- but it's how things work. As noble as you were in taking such an action- you aren't going to be rewarded for it. That's why having truth and knowledge are so important.
With truth you can take that same anger, frustration and motivation- and turn it into SUCCESS. You can turn it into real life weight loss.
That's just ONE example of many.
I truly and sincerely want to see you succeed. I hate seeing people fail- because I know how bad it hurts... I've NEVER in my entire life- EVER promoted any kind of weight loss "program" or diet.
Why?
Well because most of them are scams that steal your money and leave you feeling more confused than ever. Don't ask me how I know...
But the other day I saw a pretty awesome video filled with valuable, true weight loss information. I'll share the video with you in just a second- but first let me tell you what turned me on about it so much. Like I said- you hear a lot of bad teaching when it comes to dieting and losing weight.
