I love affiliate marketing and I am very passionate about what I do. I quickly recognized the positive aspects of affiliate marketing which is why I jumped into it so quickly without even thinking about it.

Now I have even more reasons to love it and everyday that list continues to grow.

Here are my top 10 reasons that affiliate marketing is so great for me.

  1. I’m Making Other People’s Lives Better

I don’t advertise anything unless I know it will benefit someone and their life in some way. Life is a journey and the only way we improve it is by learning and growing. That’s what I promote – products that will help with that journey.

  1. The Opportunity to Further My Own Life

Every single day I learn something new and beneficial that affects my life. Whether I’m doing research about a product or article I’m writing, or if I find something that I’ve never heard about before but can see the benefits instantly, I have come to know so much more about myself and life then I did on the first day of my affiliate marketing career.

  1. The Ability to See That Others Have Passion

So often we become disconnected from the people and world around us and we instead focus on our own lives only. The view we get of other people becomes the narrow view that the news and TV gives us and we begin to question other people’s sanity and compassion sometimes. Plus other peoples seemingly negative attitudes can drag us down and affect our own lives.

When you are promoting a product that is positive and uplifting and you see the response to that product and you begin to see past the narrow view and into the fact that many people are searching for the good in their lives.

  1. I Can Travel and Work

This is huge to me because my husband does travelling for his line of work. Now I can come along and set up my work station in the hotel and still make money while enjoying the travelling experience and company of my husband. No more getting left behind because I can’t take time off from work for me!

  1. I Set My Own Hours

I like a schedule and I strive to work the same hours every day but it doesn’t work out that way all the time. That’s okay though because I have the option to take a longer break, sleep in if I want to, take Monday off and work Saturday instead, and make supper and then get back to work. I literally have 24 hours a day to choose from for my work and my schedule depends on whatever is most convenient for me.

  1. No Boss Looking Over My Shoulder

I like to daydream sometimes and I like to go for a walk when I want to. Jobs are quite constricting when it comes to this as you don’t want to get ‘caught’ sneaking out of the building or staring at a wall doing nothing. Just the fear of getting caught is stressful and the punishment is normally quite annoying and belittling.

I’m my own person and if I choose to sit and do nothing then I’m sitting!

I never have to worry about breaking the rules anymore because I’m quite lenient with myself – as I am my own boss.

  1. Sick Days Are Allowed

There are some days that you just don’t feel like working no matter how bad you want to. You can’t pull yourself up off the couch and get moving. Your brain doesn’t want to turn on and is pissed off that you are making it do so. And I have the option to not force it or my body into doing something they do not want to do.

If I can’t get up the motivation to work then it stands to reason that my productivity will lack hugely if I try to force it to. Sometimes rest and relaxation are exactly what you need to become more productive.

  1. No More Annoying Co-Workers

I hate to say it but sometimes your co-workers can put a damper in your effectiveness at the workplace and cause unneeded stress in your personal life.

There are many ways that they can affect you including harassing you, annoying you, interrupting you, talking to you about their problems, forcing you to say hi 30 times a day, making you feel obligated to smile, making you feel obligated to talk, pissing you off by the lack of work they do, and so many other annoying things that really shouldn’t have to affect your life but sadly do when you work with other people.

  1. No Pressure

Pressure or stress can be healthy sometimes but intense and constant pressure is not. I have no deadlines, no time constraints, no need to worry about being late, no need to worry about being wrong, and no one breathing down my neck to get it right.

There are many jobs and businesses that can cause undue pressure on your body and affiliate marketing is not one of them.

  1. I Get To Write

I have loved writing since I can remember and this is one of my greatest joys of affiliate marketing. Writing has always been quite therapeutic for me and the fact that I get to write about things I think are great and worth buying is beyond perfect for me. Plus whenever I am trying to learn about something or further my own life, I write about it which means I’m getting double the positive effect. It works for my career as well as my personal life.
