There really are few physiological differences between men and women, as far as weight lifting routines are concerned. Man and woman have the same muscles and they work the same way. Differences in joint angles, particularly legs and bone density require some slight modification. However, women tend to prefer machines over free weights. Free weights develop more agility and coordination, but machines can be faster and easier to use. Proper diet and exercise is the only road to lose fat -there are no short- cuts. The key to transforming a skinny, overweight, or average body is proper diet/ exercise techniques. Some women feel uncomfortable going to the free weight area of gyms, which tend to be dominated by men. It is largely personal preference. And of course special medical conditions, such as pregnancy, require a different approach to exercise. The discovery that a baby is expected is one of the life's most exciting moments.
The fitness training program provides the basic information about fitness and well-being during pregnancy, labor, and birth and after delivery. Just alternate the exercises in each group. In other words set of bench presses, then a set of rowing and then bench presses. This allows one group of muscles to rest while one works the opposing group. One will get a better workout in less time.
