3 Simple Tips to Increase Your Energy and Help You Lose Your Belly Fat.
http://workoutanddiettips.com
I just wanted to take a quick minute and give you 3 simple tips to start the process of increasing your overall energy and losing that stubborn belly fat.
I am always on the lookout for quick and easy techniques that do NOT cost an arm and a leg and doesn't take any more time than you may already be spending on something else.
THE WAY YOU ARE EATING COULD BE KEEPING YOU FROM LOSING BELLY FAT
If you are like me you are probably in a rush and tend to eat your food as fast as possible..
We typically DON'T chew our food to get it ready for the digestion process.
This is something that I just recently was reminded of even though I remember reading about it 20 years ago..
CHEW YOUR FOOD..
Recently, I was "volunteered" to be in a Chicken Wing eating contest for a local United Way charity with the local Rotary team.
There was a team of 5 of us and we had to each eat 6 HOT chicken wings as fast as possible.. (NOW, I love chicken wings, but speed eating is NOT my forte')
We came in second place overall and in the second round I "actually" swallowed the wings WHOLE "without" chewing..
That did NOT set well with my stomach..
Needless to say, I paid for this for the next 3-4 days..
The bad part is, I had just read about a technique to increase your overall energy by chewing your food 30 times before swallowing and I had been practicing this for about 2 weeks before the contest..
That made "speed eating" chicken wings a little difficult..
I took one for the team on this one BUT will not do that again!! (at least I don't "think" I will..)
Since the digestion of your food starts in your mouth when it is mixed with saliva, swallowing chicken wings (any food) whole actually hinders the vital first step of the digestion process.
If you're like me it seems like you don't even have enough energy to make it through the day let alone energy for a fat buring workout..
So, why not start with somethng as simple as chewing your food until it is liquified in your mouth?? (start with chewing at least 30 times)
It sounds crazy, BUT, my energy skyrocketed once I took the time to chew my food "at least" 30 times before swallowing.
If you do this consciously for a couple weeks you will definitely be able to tell the difference.
Increased energy levels is essential to start to burn that belly fat and get to the point where you have a flat stomach so, do something simple.
It is very important to realize that HOW you eat can be keeping you from Losing Belly Fat and Getting a Flat Stomach.
Eating too much food at once can be causing you problems just as NOT chewing you food does.
Eating large quantities of food all at once can have a negative impact on your energy levels, which could also keep you from maximizing your workout routine.
First, eating large quantities of carbohydrates all at once can cause your blood sugar to spike. Then your body responds by releasing a insulin (more than likely in large quantities) which then causes your blood sugar to drop.(Thus making you feel tired and sluggish.)
Since digestion itself takes energy, your body has to work overtime to digest a massive amount of food so you are taking away valuable energy for other functions. I know you have heard this before but, eating very small meals is actually good for you.
However, NOT eating often enough can cause a similar problem when attempting to exercise away that stubborn stomach fat.
EAT MORE OFTEN!!
Yes, you should eat more often but, eat smaller meals so that the negative impact on your energy is reduced and your blood sugar stays more stable throughout the day.
You should eat small balanced meals (following the dietary program of your choice, but be careful of the extreme diets) every 2-3 hours.
This is one mistake I made in the past because I tend to stay focused on my work for long hours without eating which caused tremendous spikes downward in energy.
So remember, in order to maintain stable energy levels thoughout the day:
-Chew your food
-Eat smaller quantities
-Eat more often (every 2-3 hours)
I hope this helps with your workout and diet program.
