Brace yourself for some enlightenment with regard to solutions to problems that people in networking marketing experience in the whole process of making the connection, follow up, taking care of objections with a new lead or prospect and how to close.

This is a combination of Todd Falcone training and a few of my insights.

People have problems in any kind of business and are constantly seeking for solutions.

The solutions on the other hand is not that difficult to find, if you know where to go find them. It would help a great deal if you had someone to mentor you and guide you as a coach, sharing and masterminding together to enhance your success.

The first solution is to find a person that has experience and can share with you the solutions that you would not be able to obtain on your own. Albert Einstein said that one cannot solve your own problem that you created. There for you need to find other people who did not create your problem and they will be able to provide you with the solution.

I am going to share with you some of the knowledge that I gained form Todd in a webinar training.

The key to increase your own level of success is to constantly educate yourself in what successful producers are doing with regard to their strategies that they use to expose their business to new people everyday, then to duplicate what they do and say on a daily basis to lead to your success.

In Todd’s presentation he shared with us a pressing question that everyone is asking.

"How Do I Achieve Success In Network Marketing?"

The first key point to keep your focus on is to focus on exposing your business to new people everyday. The greater the exposure the better. Many successful network marketers use the Internet to expose their business to thousands of people on a daily basis using attraction marketing strategies. Attraction marketing strategies only work well if you can educate yourself in your field of interest and become and expert which in turn will attract people to you for your expertise.

The second part is to make use of a system and thirdly you need to acquire the necessary marketing skills to be able to expose your business to thousands of people and how to consistently do this.

Prospecting is the most important aspect of growing your business.

Todd referred to the 4 biggest problem areas in network marketing as being under the umbrella of marketing.

These 4 areas are broken down as follow:

  1. Connecting

  2. Follow Up

  3. Overcoming Objections

  4. Closing

Now let us elaborate a bit more about these points that Todd referred too.

  1. Connecting

When you connect with a person you should do so while paying attention to the person with regard to what he says, the way that he speak as well as his body language and posture. Make your method of connecting with people warm and friendly, flowing in conversation.

Remember that for people to join you in business there are two main factors: Commonality and likability. So you need to get started with connecting with people in this way, that you have something in common and very importantly that they like you.

If they do not like you, then there is no foundation for building a relationship with you, whether friendship or a business relationship.

Todd mentioned matching and mirroring. If you connect with a person via telephone you should pay attention to the volume that the person is speaking to you over the telephone. If that person is very soft spoken then you should adapt your way of speaking to the same tone of voice.

If a person is speaking slowly with little pauses, then you should adapt this into your conversation, example:

Hi… Bob… How… are… you?

In other cases you might speak in a way similar to this: "Hi Bob, how are you?" wit out little spaces in between your words.

Listen attentively to what your prospect is saying and doing with regard to their posture. This obviously will apply to a variety of different aspects and circumstances with regard to observations about your prospects posture that would only be observable when meeting in person or maybe on a Skye call.

Matching his or her posture, volume and pace of speech will make the connection more relaxed and you will be more likable.

Remember that your ability to be more likable will increase your ability to close.

  1. Follow Up

If somebody has opt in to your web form or requested more information, they expect you to follow up. This is the cycle of follow up.

You should build your own mental consequences if you do not follow up. Finish what you started. Never start something and then not finish it. You might as well then not start it in the first place.

Adopt the mentality of all or nothing. You either put 100% effort in making a success or you do not even start. Nobody that start with half a positive attitude or mindset make a success in anything.

Make your decision and do all you can to make it happen.

Remember that one only need one reason to get started so find that one great reason and discard all those counless excuses keeping you from your greatness.

Make sure that you search deep inside of you to find that reason and whatever you do, don’t let anybody steel that away from you. Guard it with your life. Increase your knowledge, if you hit an obstacle, search and find the answer from other people that has overcome that obstacle.

There is no problem that you cannot overcome if your desire and reason is strong enough.

When you follow up with your connection, Todd suggested that you say something during the conversation as in this example: "On a scale of 1 to 10 to sign up, where are you on the scale?’

If "Bob" says that he is a 5 or 7 then say: "Why are you on a 7 Bob? Do you need some more information?" If he says yes, refer him to your tools.

It might be your website, webinar or other sources of information that you have available.

If it is possible let him access the information while you are chatting to him. If this is not possible at the time, then arrange a time that he will check out the information and when you can speak to him after he has viewed the information.

Say to Bob: "So, Bob, when can I speak to you after viewing the website? At that point I can answer any questions. Is that Okay?"

If his answer is yes, continue. Ask Bob the following question: "Bob, do you have a calendar?"

If his answer is yes tell him to pencil in your name and contact number.

Then ask Bob: "Bob, can you confirm my contact number?"

Then say to Bob: "Great Bob, I will get back to you on Friday 1 October at 8pm to hear your feedback and to take care of your questions or to hear your feedback whether you like what I have shared with you. Does that sound fair?"

Lets say that you have arranged to speak to Bob on Friday at 8pm.

Make sure that you do not call at 7:45pm but that you will keep it professional and call at 8:00pm on the actual time that you have arranged.

This is a business and you should keep it professional. Remember that you are the CEO of your own multi million dollar business. Always keep in mind: "If I have a multi million dollar company, would I hire me?"

If your answer is no, then you seriously need to make some drastic changes in your mindset and way of doing things. Or you are going to fire yourself and quit.

  1. Objections

Write down objections and get the answers to those objections from your up line so that you will be prepared for those objections in future.

Maybe arrange a three way call with him and your sponsor and listen in.

It is absolutely critical that you take notes if you get your prospect on a three way call with your sponsor who is more experienced then you, so that you will know what to say in future if a similar situation occur where there are objections.

  1. Closing

Some people think that this part is very difficult and that it is some kind of magic to close but in fact closing is something that just happens. The whole process from connecting to closing should be a flowing process.

It is all part of the expected cycle, remember. Your lead has requested more information to start out with so that he can make an educated decision if what he has come across is something that will enhance his success in his business, so if he likes you and the information that you gave him access too provide him with the answers to his questions you will get to a point where there are no more questions and objections which is the point of close. It is as simple as that.

Say to Bob: "Are there any more questions on how to sign up and where do I send the money?"

There are some sure tell closing signs that you can be on the look out for, have a look at the following buying or closing signs:

"How do we get into business?"

"How do we grow the business?"

"How do we get paid?"

There are many more similar questions to these questions about that are sure signs of interest in getting started.

Your prospect is either in or out.

If he is "IN" great.

If he is "OUT" get a referral by saying: "Well Bob, do you know anybody that need to make an extra income that you know about that has a dream and need to know what they can do to enhance their life style and reach their dreams?"
