W.A. Electric Controls Ltd. is located in Peterborough, Ontario Canada and provides short manufacturing lead time for all products, and top-notch customer service. The authorized distributor for GE Industrial
Systems/Electrical Distribution and Control Products for eastern Ontario, they are able to help with all electrical control needs. Celebrating their 25th year in the business, W.A. Electric continues to produce
products that are equivalent to factory originals.
Motor control centers are the core industrial technologies created to regulate the activity and power of multiple motor systems. Considered the gold standard of motor control technology, the CR2000
and CR7092C systems have been used for decades. Their operational lifespan has created an ongoing need for replacements and renewal parts, which has helped keep WAEC in business for 25 years.
Purchasing the manufacturing and design rights of the CR2000 and CR7092C in 1985 from Canadian General Electric, WAEC continues to supply and manufacture components for MCC’s that were
previously installed by CGE. The CR2000 motor control center has been an industry benchmark for quality construction and design since 1977 and WAEC’s dedication has enabled the continued production of this quality Canadian product.
W.A. Electric Controls helps their clients expand the capabilities of their existing motor control systems, by providing on-site expertise that is needed to make the most cost effective decisions. For 25 years
now, WAEC has helped clients to maintain and service their current motor control systems rather than forcing them to be replaced. The use of the website, www.waelectric.ca, will continue to make WAEC the foremost expert in these systems.
Celebrating 25 years in the business, WAEC continues to distribute these standard motor control products that include, pilot devices, switches, push buttons, starters, panel boards, transformer and circuit breakers. Each part will conform to factory original specifications and allow for quick and easy installation. Each and every MCC unit is created to satisfy any customizations or specifications required
by the customer.
All production and engineering employees at W.A. Electrical Controls have been previously employed for Canadian General Electric in both the building and design of motor control centers. This results in WAEC
having the most experienced and knowledgeable staff, with no one in the electrical industry knowing
more about the CR2000 and CR7092C. With now 25 years in the business, WAEC continues to strive for excellence.
WAEC will continue to offer a far superior solution to anything an outside technician can offer. In the current economic climate, WAEC is able to help their clients keep costs down by enabling them to keep their current system running and avoiding the extra costs associated with replacing the MCC and fees
for adapting it to a new facility. Celebrating the 25th year in the business, W.A. Electric Controls will continue to apply their expertise to custom manufacturing in motor and electrical controls, magnetic
devices, and specialized parts.
WAEC is the manufacturer of the CR7092C and CR2000 motor control centers and renewal parts for these MCC’s. WAEC has also applied its expertise to the manufacturing of the CR9440 line of magnetic proximity and limit switches as well as speed gate relays.
