Diabetes Control
==================================
What is diabetes? Why do we need to slash down our sugar intake?
When glucose builds up in the bloodstream, the cells become starved for energy because they do not have access to the glucose and in short term and long term frequent glucose build-up increases the acidity of the blood, damaging many of the body's organs, including the eyes, kidneys, nerves and/or heart. The body produces insulin, however the body itself doesn't respond to it or utilize it properly giving it the chance to increase high level of sugar in the blood, since it was not process and taken in. Many people will become depressed and become sad if sugar is taken out of ALL junk food. Usually, diabetes is due to hereditary and environmental causes resulting abnormally that leads to high blood sugar levels.
Types of Diabetes
Either of the 3 types of diabetes, if not properly treated and medicated and if not being implemented regularly may lead to heart attack, eye problems, nerve damage, gum disease, kidney problems and more. Type 2 diabetes is characterized differently and is usually due to insulin resistance or reduced insulin sensitivity, combined with relatively reduced insulin secretion which in some cases becomes unconditional. The major treatment of type-1 diabetes, even in its earliest stages, is the delivery of artificial insulin by means of injection combined with careful monitoring of blood glucose levels using blood testing monitors. At this point, insulin therapy is necessary to maintain normal or near normal glucose levels. Eventually, the pancreas can wear out from working overtime to produce extra insulin and may no longer be able to produce enough to keep a person's blood sugar levels within a normal range. Type 1 diabetes is characterized by loss of the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas leading to insulin deficiency.

Now once we encountered insulin scarcity, diabetes may take place. Since we are talking about health problems, the most common disease that is greatly known today is diabetes. If our bodies do not produce insulin, this results in a lower amount of sugar in our blood and in our urine, so once we have a severe low amount of glucose in our blood, other internal organs like eyes, kidneys, heart and nerves might not have enough supply of sugar. Especially in countries like Myanmar, India and China, they consider bitter melon to be an effective way to fight diabetic activity. Diabetes consists of three types, one is the Type 1 diabetes, the second is the Type 2 diabetes and the third one is gestational diabetes. When we digest our food, it is converted into a form of sugar for our body or what we may call as glucose. Since bitter melons are considered to have twice the potassium compared to bananas at the same time increase the amount of beta cells, these melons may help the pancreas to produce insulin.
