If you spend any amount of time looking around online for money making opportunities you will have had plenty of offers thrown at you, some legitimate and some not!

I certainly did when I first got online.

You just need to make sure you take everything with a pinch of salt, people and websites that tell you that you can become rich within just a few weeks are probably hiding something from you. Sure there is plenty of money to be made online, people have been doing it for years. Heck, I've been doing it for the last 10 months! You just need to understand that it's a competitive industry and that you will need to pull your finger out and get to work! Others would have you believe otherwise, but this is not a get rich quick industry

Here are some of the legitimate ways that you can make some cash on the internet

There are many more, but these are the methods I've had personal experience with.

Marketing As An Affiliate - you market and promote another person's product, when you get a sale they will pay you a percentage of the sale. Most affiliate marketers will start off at Clickbank. This is probably the easiest way to make money online! You will however need to learn how to get people to visit and see your offer Many people will begin with Affiliate Marketing when starting online, but unfortunately most will fail and give up!

Cost Per Action (CPA) - very similar to affiliate marketing, but better in that a sale is not required to earn, just an action will make you some money. For example a web visitor might enter their name and email or download a piece of software. You can get paid for this!

Network MLM Marketing - the internet is a great place to build this sort of business, we can leverage systems to do a lot of the legwork for us and we have an almost unlimited supply of leads. MLM companies don't market their products through the normal methods (shops, TV, radio etc..) but through a network of individual distributors who are actually recommending the products to others. Distributors earn when they sell products but also when they build a team under them who sell products also. MLM is based on relationship building and personal recommendations.

Google Adsense - you may have seen these on other websites they are usually text or images ads that you can click on to go to another site. Every time you click them someone earns money! On the face of it, it seems a pretty easy setup. Get a website, put up some Google adverts and start making money! Great! Yes it is, but you need to learn the skill of generating website traffic otherwise you won't be making any money.

Provide services - register at somewhere like oDesk and offer your services (you need to be good at something though, web design, graphics, writing etc...)
