Each year, there are many people looking at Palm Beach Gardens homes for sale, hoping to settle down in one of the country's most beautiful, upscale communities. Why exactly do people find attractive about Palm Beach Gardens real estate?
When people buy houses, they usually see it as a huge part of their life. They look forward to the things they can do as much as they look at the practical side of the matter (local economy, real estate market conditions, etc). Buying Palm Beach Gardens real estate property means that you're buying property in a location that has a lot of family-friendly locations around it. Here are just a few examples of them:
-
The Flagler Museum - This historic landmark was a castle that was a gift by the railroad and oil tycoon, Henry Flagler. He had the castle made for his new wife back in 1902 and they lived in it until 1913. Flagler used this castle as an office because of the spectacular view. It was situated in a location that overlooks his Palm Beach hotel empire. The couple lived there until Flagler died. After his death, the castle was turned into a hotel, and then was converted into a museum. It's now listed at the National Register of Historic Places.
-
Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens - The gardens is surrounded by the El Cid Historic district. The garden itself is a natural museum which has historic value. It's a doubly historic venue because of the fact that it's situated within the El Cid historic district.
-
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens - The museum stands on what was a pineapple farm back in 1905. The pineapple farm was owned and run by a colony of Japanese immigrants back in 1905. Several years later, the land was donated as a museum and Japanese garden by the sole surviving member of the Japanese colony.
-
Spady Cultural Heritage Museum - This museum shows artifacts and documents about the African-American history of the area. It's inside a historic mission revival home which was built in 1926.
Aside from the art districts and museums in the area, there are also a lot of beautiful beaches in the Palm Beach Gardens area as well as the areas surrounding it. There's the famous Palm beach municipal beach, a small secluded public beach area. There's the Phipps Ocean park, which is also a small and secluded public beach with picnic tables, tennis courts, and barbecue grills.
There's the Ocean Inlet Park which is a thriving and fun place that has cafes, playgrounds, picnic grounds, and boat slips. There's also the Ocean ridge hammock park, Ocean Reef park, and a lot more.
While there are many people who would just love to go on a vacation in a place as beautiful as Palm beach Gardens, there aren't many people who will be priviledged enough to have access to such beautiful beaches any time that they want. Part of the highlights of buying Palm Beach Gardens real estate is that it brings you closer in proximity to such a fun and wholesome environment. It has a lot to do with the way houses in this area are more likely to perform well in terms of keeping their value up.
