The word is out that search engine marketing mean only paid search engine advertising but in reality it also include SEO – search engine optimization or organic. In this article I will summarize some of the non - paid (organic search marketing techniques) especially SEO.
SEO
This technique solely organic and you cannot disburse the search engine to place you site in position #1. SEO is done by improving the search engine placement of the site on the search result. SEO is the acronym for search engine optimization which is the process of raising the quality and the quantity of the visitors to a site. This practice is occasionally known as web optimisation or search engine ranking. The placement depends on number of factors depending on the search engine and they are as per search engine.

You can distinguish the variation between Google and other search engines are only the age and page rank. Google come across at age as authority consequently older site rank better on Google. Also Google initiated a page rank that other companies not employ. Google is more sophisticated than other search engines by using website age and page rank which are to be a significant features in website ranking. Page rank is a number from 0 to 10 sometimes the range is from -1 to 10. Page rank indicates how essential is your website to Google. Typically a top quality website has a good page rank value (above PR 5) i.e. if your website be full of useful information to public then it will be ranked it high by Google. A fine case is Wikipedia, which is an enormous encyclopedia that is at all times ranked high due to the informative contents and worthiness of the content. A famous say in the SEO world is "content is King".
