My Secrets to choosing the Right Internet marketing Keywords.

Keyword Research Tools:

Throughout time, you can’t name me one business or laborer that the quality of their work and even their lives weren’t improved by the invention of Tools. Think back when the copier/fax machine was such innovative and time consuming discovery. Or the carpenter and his mighty hammer or when the air-gun & stapler were invented. Think of the countless man-hours of labor saved when using the Right Tools.

Keyword Research is no different. To surf the Internet looking for the amount of information necessary in producing the algorithms, it would take to generate the statistics needed to determine traffic flow is beyond us common laymen. I cant even begin to explain all things you would need to do it. Why, because we have Superb tools at our fingertips.

There are both Free & Pay services or downloads available, depending upon your marketing budget. For the sake of all those less fortunate we are going to focus on the Free services. And Briefly touch on and describe Pay services.

  1. Googles Adwords Keyword Tool.

I will give you a quick review of the following Free Keyword Tools and how I use them.

A) Enter your main keyword in the box provided and remember to look for and check the "Use Synonyms". This will allow you even more ideas when developing you list.

B) Enter the necessary letters you see in the captcha. Oh, we must prove to the "BOTS" that we’re human.

C) Lets say you entered "Internet Marketing", now when you look at the spreadsheet that Google has presented to you, direct your attention to the first column on the left. This is the list of related words or phrases related to Internet Marketing that Google has come up with for you.

The 2nd column you see is the box with color in it. The amount of space in the box that is colored is indicating the amount of active bidding on that particular word or phrase. If the box is full of color, this indicates there is tremendous competition for that word or phrase and it would be costly to use. The less amount of color in the box means the less amount of competition. This by no means indicates that it is not still a very good keyword, just that it has a lower number of inquiries and is not attractive to the Big Dog Marketers. Yet, if you take that lesser trafficked keyword or phrase and build your article, blog or video upon it, then the viewers that you receive are there because you are providing what they are searching for.

The 3rd column form the left shows "Local Searches". Google’s idea of Local is the US of A.

The 4th column is the truly important set of statistics you want to pay attention to. His is the Global Monthly Search Volume.

Next step is to use, lets say the Top 20 results that Google’s presented you. And do a quick survey on each word or phrase in that list of 20. This will bring even more Keyword variations to add to your list.

Remember- No Keyword tool is 100% accurate. It’s always advisable to check the results from several services before putting all your nano-bytes in just one computer.
