For some of us, the hardest part of setting up a niche affiliate marketing, online business is deciding what to sell.

It's like we have only one shot and if we misfire, that's it. Foiled again. No online business for us.

Of course, nothing could be farther from the case. In fact, if we don’t ever take that shot, we definitely will be out of business. But that aside...

Too many times my partner and I have seen a great potential website shot down by a client's inability to come to a final business niche decision. Not being able to select a product or service to endorse and promote has shot down many an otherwise highly motivated, would be internet entrepreneur.

There are lots of ways to make money from working at home online, but niche affiliate marketing is the most popular. All you have to do is decide what you want to promote, get a good website up, and devote a bit of time to feeding and nourishing it. Start with and keep adding solid content, and you’re home free.

Don't get hung up trying to choose a business niche. Just give it a little thought. Do you love Jack Russell Terriers? Badminton? Rock polishing? What gets your motor running? What do you usually think about in those moments just before you fall asleep at night? Is there a product or service you believe you could promote better than those now doing so? The important thing is that you arrive at a decision.

What's the one thing that most folks just can't accept?

You can sell almost anything on the internet. And you can make money doing it. No matter what it is that you're into, there are thousands of folks worldwide who share your interest or fascination. And they all seek information about it online.

When setting up an internet business, it's way more important that you're really into whatever you're marketing or promoting. So, what turns you on? There must be some job you'd do without even getting paid. You've found your niche. You've found the perfect subject for your website.

There's no need to get hung up trying to figure out if your choice will make money or not. In today's internet environment, websites based on virtually any idea, if passion driven, can make good money. The opposite is also true - some of the best ideas we've seen have turned out to be flops.

Why?

Because the poor folks running those flops had little or no actual interest in whatever they were promoting. Keeping up a website seemed a lot like a job. It was work. This made sticking with updating and promoting their site more and more difficult.

None of this is a problem if you actually love and enjoy everything to do with your new business. You enjoy reading email from your website's visitors. You love looking for and adding new content to your website.

Just give it some thought. Try not to over think it. What makes you happy? What wouldn't seem like work? Find someone to build a niche affiliate marketing website for you, or do it yourself. It's not hard to find someone to help you with your website.

Just do it. Pick a niche.
