Weight Management. It is known that obesity is associated with high levels of LDL cholesterol since LDL cholesterol and body weight have direct relationship. If you are overweight, it would be helpful if you lose weight and aim for the ideal weight. Losing weight helps you lower LDL cholesterol.
Exercise. Increased physical activity significantly lower LDL cholesterol. People engage in physical activities have comparably lower LDL cholesterol levels than those who do not exercise regularly. In fact, exercising lowers the levels of LDL cholesterol by as much as 10 percent. This also explains why people with sedentary lifestyle tend to have increased cholesterol levels.
