Online MLM marketing is a powerful way to build your network marketing business. Unfortunately it can also be a quick way to frustration and overload if you are not careful. Because there are so many opportunities available in the online world, the need to be hyper-focused in your marketing efforts is critical.
There are essentially three areas that require a laser sharp focus and pinpoint accuracy. These are your choice of strategy, your decision on what to promote and your target audience. Without focus, your efforts to market your MLM online will become so dispersed that they will be rendered ineffective.
Begin by examining your online MLM marketing strategy. There is a mind boggling array of choices available to the online marketer. Will you be using ppc, blogging, social media, articles, video, cpa, listbuilders, forums, classified ads, ezines, banners, TE's, etc...? If you try to use all of these methods and tools you run the risk of spreading yourself too thin. Although your message will be in many places, your message will be so dispersed that it cannot do an effective job of branding and creating interest. The time and money spent on promoting your business will not produce the results that justify the expenditure.
The second area of focus is in what you choose to promote. It is not uncommon for a marketer to be building a business in multiple companies; however, this creates the issue of what to promote. If a marketer tries to promote all of the companies, again the message gets spread thin and rendered virtually ineffective. This is one of the reasons that personal branding is so important when marketing your MLM online. It is much more effective to utilize your marketing resources to build your personal brand in the marketplace and then use that personal connection to direct people towards the specific company, product or opportunity that is appropriate for their situation.
The final piece of focus concerns your target market. One of the most common mistakes I see network marketers making is that they are focusing on too broad of a market. For example it is much better to target men who are interested in a "home based business that deals with motor sports" than it is to target men and women who are interested in "network marketing." While there are fewer prospects in the more highly focused prospect pool, those prospects are going to be much more receptive to our message, because they are searching for a deeper level of information. This one of the reasons that you often see company reviews in blogs and articles. By using such highly specific content, the marketer is able to better connect with people who have moved past a search for general information and are now in the decision making process.
Being laser targeted is a fundamental concept if your online MLM marketing is going to create long term successful results.
Successful online MLM marketing requires you to learn the fundamentals. Let Carl Willis teach you a step by step process of building a profitable MLM business online.
