Free Keyword Research Tool-Wordtracker
If you’ve been marketing long enough you will remember the Keyword Research Tool from Overture/Yahoo. When it faded away, word tracker cam along and gave us a Free Version.
Again, all you do is enter your Keyword or Keyword Phrase in the box provided and click on the HITME button and it will produce a list of the TOP 100 searches that incorporate your keyword or phrase and also show the number of times searched for daily.
Wordtracker also has a paid version. I won’t get into prices because I believe a price is all relevant to their perceived value by the customer. But for joy, they give you a 7 day free trial of their paid services. This way you get to see if you like its abilities before you pay out a dime.
The free version of word tracker will only share with you the top 100 most popular searches and Googles Keyword Tool serves up approx 150. However Wordtrackers paid keyword tool version will provide you with 1000 keywords.
The Wordtracker paid version also gives you the ability to save your keyword lists and organize them by project. Here’s where the 7 Day Free Trial comes in at. Before you sign up for your free trial, you should already have a varied list of words and phrases ready, covering different subjects and buzz topics.
When you sign up, you now have 7 days to compile an astoundingly huge list of keywords or keyword phrases. In one days time you should be able to generate a years worth of keywords for articles, videos and blogs. Imagine what you can do with 7 days of research for free.
This paid version even does a competitive analysis. You just click a button and the work is done for you.
The paid wordtracker tool produces data that is very accurate. It allows you to discover with just a click of a button, the number of other pages also trying to rank for the same keywords and phrases as you are. This Keyword Tool makes it very easy to create a colossal list of long tail phrases as well as short keywords.
Now, it’s up to you to use this data to optimize your website or blog, and make your articles search engine friendly.
