Network Marketing Problems..Can Jonathan Budd Provide Solutions?

I know what it's like to face countless problems in my network marketing business. From lack of money to lack of skill, time, education, and prospects.

Odds are if you are facing similar problems in your business and reading this article we have something in common. You love this industry and you don't want to quit your opportunity but you need solutions. You need results!

Jonathan Budd is a veteran network marketer that came to this industry with nothing. When I say nothing I mean he had no warm market that listened to him and no skill, money, education or background. He struggled for over a year doing many of the same marketing strategies that I was using.

For example I was considered the 3-way call Guru in my marketplace. I would hand out at least 2 DVD's, CD's, or Magazines everyday. I would prospect people at malls, small businesses, restaurants, etc., I would cold call hundreds of business opportunity leads, I would attend my weekly briefing and stay plugged into my companies training calls. I would attend larger events and invite prospects to these events. I was following my companies 'easy-duplicatable-system' religiously.

Jonathan Budd and I lost a lot of money before we learned that we needed to make a change. Not a change in our company, but a change in the way we were marketing. The company's marketing plan was simply NOT working for us.

Two key strategies that he learned to implement into his marketing strategy are 'Attraction Marketing' and 'Technology'.

The first strategy is to change your mindset. You need to forget all the 'hype' your company feeds you about how easy it is to make money and begin thinking of yourself as an entrepreneur, not a sales rep or distributor. This is not easy to do in the beginning and it wasn't easy for me, but it is extremely important to your success in network marketing.

Let's face it, YOU are in a real business. You are the only one who can make things happen and your network marketing company is only a vehicle to financial prosperity. You need to detach yourself from your company and look at it as one income stream out of a variety of income streams that you will be generating as an entrepreneur. Rich people become rich because they know how to diversify their wealth and create multiple streams of income. Network marketing is one income stream and is very powerful but should not be your only source of wealth. If it is then you are on shaky ground my friend. Companies come and companies go. Compensation plans come and compensation plans go. Change is unavoidable and we need to learn to move with the cheese.

The second strategy is 'Attraction Marketing'. Definition: Attraction Marketing is a strategy whereby you position yourself as trustworthy, unique, and valuable in the minds of your prospects. How do you do this? By offering incredible amounts of value for free with no hidden agenda.

Think about what your prospects want for a minute. They want leadership. They want a mentor who will hold their hand in the beginning and lead them to success. Now, obviously you can't hold their hand for ever and most prospects know this, but in the beginning (especially if they have NO business experience) they need help.

Regardless of what you have been told, prospects will not join your business because of your company's product or business model. There are really only two reasons why someone would join you in your business and that's YOU and your MARKETING SYSTEM. Your prospect is always thinking in the back of their mind, can they trust you? and do you have the knowledge and systems in place that they can implement to make the greatest amount of money in the quickest amount of time.

Attraction marketing focuses on marketing YOU before marketing your business. You have to be an attractable person to your prospects. What value do you have to offer someone? We all have value that can be shared with someone else. It's our job to leverage our value and really help people. This is what makes network marketing one of the greatest businesses in the world! People helping people.
