It is easy to get intimidated when you discover you'll be exhibiting in a small area. Perhaps it's so small that your regular trade show displays won't even fit into the area, or that you'll have to modify them somehow. You can try to adapt your static exhibits and squeeze them into the smaller area. Or, you can embrace some of the tips and tricks that exist to make the most out of any space. You might have to spend a little more, but many of these items have many uses that make them a smart investment.
Banner Stands Are Adaptable And Adjustable
Banner stands are a staple of presentations, and it's no surprise that they continue to develop as part of trade show designs. These stands are small and fold up into a tube shape, making them easy to carry. In addition, they are completely mobile. They have their own base that functions independently of all other booth elements, meaning you can position them as close to or far from the boundaries of your allotted area as you like.
When you have your ideal space, banner stands can be used to draw visitors into your booth. Place them at the edge of the booth itself, and those walking by will see it and become curious. However, the uses of the banner stands don't end there. You can also use them in other marketing endeavors beyond conventions. For example, banner stands can be a great addition to marketing promotions on your company's property. Or, if you have a retail store, you can use the same banner stands to promote yourself on the street. They are also a boost to the waiting room of a car dealership or other institution. Banner stands give information about your company in a highly portable fashion that allows them to be beneficial and usable anywhere you'd want to have information about your company posted prominently.
Consider Purchasing Additional Small Trade Show Displays
If you have only one large booth and frequently find yourself unable to use it due to space constraints, it is reasonable to consider investing in a smaller unit. If you are purchasing additional trade show displays, you should explore the option of modular units. Modular trade show displays can be moved around depending on the parameters of your display area. They can be functionally rebuilt based upon space constraints, which makes them a great option if you frequently encounter space problems. They can also help you customize your trade show displays to the area, such as allowing you to take advantage of a corner without purchasing new trade show displays.
Avoid Overcrowding
The smaller your exhibit space, the less staff members you should have. You would ideally like to have enough staff that no guest will go unrecognized, but if space is tight, you should always have guests take priority. Your staff will make the booth too crowded. You'll have people for the visitors to talk to, but you'll miss out on other visitors who can't get in. Don't avoid staff altogether, but just keep the number reasonable relative to the number of visitors who can fit into your trade show displays.
Follow these tips, and you'll be able to get the most out of any space, particularly a small space. Flexible design features and smart hiring practices will conserve display space for the people who will value it most: your visitors.
