So there are some people talking of an ACN scam, do they have a legitimate reason to do so? Or maybe they are from folks who aren't keen on the MLM business model?

Lets take a look at exactly what the real deal is here.

American Communications Network are a telecommunications company providing a digital telephone service complete with video phone, they also provide broadband as part of their service portfolio. There is the opportunity for you to acquire customers and distributors under the MLM compensation plan. We must remember that there is a genuine service being provided. Obviously this company isn't a ponzi scheme of any description. In traditional pyramid schemes there will be no product provided and members will just be paid only for bring other people who pay a fee into the pyramid.

There are some more things below to think about when evaluating ACN

The company is well endorsed by Donald Trump, founder of The Trump Network. Now given Donald's popularity and reputation in the business world, I can't see him ever associating himself with anything short of 100% legit. American Telecommunications Network are not flying solo in providing their services but have joined forces with other big providers like, Dish Network, Direct TV, T-mobile and Sprint. Obviously this gives customers the confidence that they are going to receive a decent telecom service for a start. I also don't think that such companies would team up with ACN is they thought that they were in any way ripping people off

American Communication Network was started up by Mike & Tony Cupisz, Rob Stevanovski and Greg Provenzano, all have a trail of success behind them in the Network Marketing industry. Farmingon Hills in Michigan is where you will find the HQ.

Based on the evidence so far it looks like ACN is legit!

It seems to me that ACN scam stories could be fuelled by the marketing activities of some distributors. It's a common problem in the Network Marketing industry; these opportunities are often marketed in such a way that seems to promise easy, fast wealth. People will buy into the business based on emotional decisions and then later down the line suffer from 'buyers remorse' when the thousands of bucks haven't appeared in their bank account as they thought they would. It could be for many different reasons that they don't get the success that want, it is however pretty common that most MLM companies only give very basic training.

It's a sad fact, but true that most won't make the top distributor ranks. Network Marketing isn't a silver bullet industry, it does take a lot of work and you need to be willing to network with people. For a lot of people their main problem is getting enough people to talk to about their opportunity. As we all know this is a numbers game and you will face a lot of rejection before finding those people who will join. It's a problem I struggled with in my business for quite a few years.

However its possible and not that difficult to generate unlimited prospects using some simple methods and leveraging the power of the internet.
