This is a vast and deep subject that can fall beyond the grasp of the average Joe, but I will still share the basics to writing a good Ad copy aka Killer Ad.

For readability, use short paragraphs no more than 5 lines max each. It's easier to read and to "Follow".... and your readers need to "Follow" you in your Ad Copy!...In fact, you need to have them Follow your texts all the way down your page to your Form or a product you are selling without them hesitating too much. There is more to this especially if your goal is to have them pull out their plastic, but lets stick with the basics.

Killer Words: Words are very powerful in an Ad copy. Here are a few Words that provoke a release of adrenaline from the brain...

Discover, Inside, Outside, Reveal, Hidden, Secret and many more...

Your Ad copy also needs to be positively worded. People Love reading those positive Ads!...so you need to drop in a few well placed words such as but not limited to, Happy, Beautiful, like, Wonderful, Nice, Enjoy, and many more!...and one of the most powerful words "Love"

Words to avoid: Here are a few words to avoid: Bad, Sad, Awful, and the baddest of them all... "Scam" which is less obvious and other less obvious are words such as: Amazing, Incredible, and Powerful. These last ones are overused words in Ad copy. People don't bite on these words anymore. In the 50's it was fine, but they are now extinct and will do more harm than good.

Cap those First Letters: This one is one of the basics of a good Ad copy. You will want to put emphasis on certain words throughout your Ad copy and one of the best ways to achieve this is to Cap the first Letter of the words you want to emphasize especially if it's a Title. Here is an example of such Title:

Hidden Secrets Finally Revealed!... Note all first letters are capped. You will want to also Cap other first letter words within the body of your text but not every single word such as the Title example above.

There are many other kinds of ways to emphasize such as but not limited to Bolding, Marking, Underlining, Colors, that last one falls into the realms of Color Psychology which is a science on its own which I won't go into now.

You cannot Cap just any word, underline or Bold words at random in your Ad copy! You can and will break your Ad copy if you go at this blindly without experience!

Your readers are humans and have "emotions". Now don't go out telling them a sad story about yourself... that won't work in this business! In fact, people don't care about you and why should they? Remember, people Love reading positively worded Ad copy! Don't go overboard either or your Ad will not sound "Human".

You need to give the reader importance and avoid talking about yourself whenever possible. Use words like You and Yours throughout your texts and avoid I, I am, I'm etc...

Also, People can feel you through you while they read. I wouldn't feel good about reading an Ad full of Typos, and you neither. Make sure to do a Spell check and if your English grammar lacks, have your Ad copy verified by someone who knows the English language better than you do.

Lastly, Benefits, Benefits, and more Benefits! I don't have time to go into that now...

Hope you enjoyed these few Tips...
