Once you’re in the space of being a life coach and you’re spending time in the cockpit, the next step is about what you’re saying when you’re actually talking to clients and how you interact with them. Many life coaches try to attract clients, but they end up pulling and reaching for clients. So they wonder how to attract instead of trying to pull, convince and cajole.
This next step is the main component, and one of the most important ones to master because this step is when you go from convincing to attracting. So what is it? This step is making a breakthrough and causing transformation for your clients. That’s where the power is.
If you are selling food, people will line up to buy your food naturally once they’ve tasted your food and experienced your food. The same is true for life coaching. And you want them to experience your life coaching too, but you don’t know how to communicate it! Because you know that once they experience your life coaching, you KNOW they’ll want to coach with you. The way to communicate the power of what you do is not by telling them, but by showing them.
And how do you show them? You cause a breakthrough for them. You get in their world. You’re in coach mode. You’re in servant mode. You’re in this sales process to begin with to cause radical transformation in their lives. So begin causing it! BE the life coach! Help them out! Make a difference for them! You already know how to do that too! So just do it! Don’t ask permission. You claim that space. That’s how you show them, not tell them. You start coaching them. You just be with them, understand them and help them out with what means the most to them. You feed the hungry. They’re hungry somewhere in their lives. You have food. Find the hunger. Feed the hungry. That you already know how to do.
Once they’ve experienced the power of what your life coaching, they’ve experienced transformation, do you think you’ll have to convince them of what you do? Will you have to tell them that you’re a life coach? NO! Do you think they’ll be much more easily attracted to what you do? Of course!
People are hungry. They want their dreams fulfilled. But they don’t know how to do it, and they’re struggling with it. That’s why they would want a life coach. So it’s only when people realize, experience and understand that they can achieve their dreams by latching onto your coattails and coaching with you, that they’ll say yes and become your clients. Of their own volition. Without coercion or force. They’ll line up at your door. As long as you are a force for good, a servant of the divine and committed to making a powerful difference with every person you meet. You’ll be able to attract clients without struggle, and you’ll have built the capacity and skills to know you can succeed as a life coach.
