There are a few cases in which having an IT support professional on staff at all times makes sense. It is a good idea to decide whether you are in a situation in which it is necessary to have a professional on staff at all times of if it makes more sense to continue to hire a professional to fix your computer as needed. In most cases, if the computers that you have are used every day, it makes sense to hire IT support which will be a constant on site professional. They will not only understand your system better. They will be able to provide advice on how to avoid future problems.

When hiring a technical professional for IT support, it is a good idea to take a look at how much you are spending now on technical support from outside companies. Take a look at what the average IT guy makes and decide whether you are spending more than you need to. If you are hiring out IT support several times a week, you will likely be able to save money by hiring a professional to be on site at all times. You will simply need to crunch the numbers to decide which is best.
