Hello to everyone reading this article. For this article, I am going to talk about constipation and how to go about relieving it when you are faced with it. Constipation is something that a lot of people deal with, and I have dealt with it for many years. Over the years, I have learned a lot of tips with relieving constipation and it is with this list, that I will share my personal top 5 tips for relieving constipation. Now to the list!
- Drink Plenty Of Water
If you are constipated, the first thing you should do is drink plenty of water. Drinking lots of water is a good way to prevent constipation, so if you are dealing with constipation you may not have been drinking a lot of water to begin with. So increase your water intake and this may help relieve your constipation.
- Fruits and Veggies
Eating fruits and veggies is very important for preventing and relieving constipation. The main thing you can do to prevent constipation is to eat a lot of fiber. Fruits and veggies are filled with fiber and will help in preventing and reliving constipation.
- Eat Cereal!
Another great way of relieving constipation is to eat more cereal. Like the above tip, cereal also has a lot of fiber and can help in relieving constipation. It is best if you stick to bran cereal, as that has the most fiber.
- Exercise
This is one of the most overlooked ways to relieve constipation, but it really helps! By exercising, you get your body moving which can lead to your bowels moving. So if you are constipated, try going for a simple walk.
- Laxatives
I recommend laxatives as a last resort. They can certainly help your constipation, but they can also cause a lot of problems. Also, if you start to regularly use laxatives, that can lead to even more problems. It's best to get a doctors guidance when using laxatives.
