If you’re a life coach, you’re going to want to continue to make breakthroughs in your business and in your life. You can be successful at life coaching and learning how to attract clients. But you have to commit to your own growth and development. You have to begin to get that you can do more than where you are at. You have to cultivate a habit of continually making breakthroughs in your life so you can do the same for your clients.
There are five components that will help you to make breakthroughs. First, you must have a load of willingness. You must be willing to face your monster head on. By monster, I mean your deepest fears, the things you’ve been avoiding, what gets you the most frustrated and stressed and so forth. You have to embrace everything. Anything that’s holding you back you gotta be willing to face head on. Willingness is so much more than just learning new info. It’s about having a fierce commitment to applying everything you know you should do and more. And that’s when you come face to face with your monster, with your preferences and your emotional box that keeps you where you are at.
The second step is to begin questioning everything. You have a mental and emotional framework or box that you don’t question, that you accept as reality and don’t even know it. So you have to begin to question everything you think is reality - especially about getting more clients, and the impact you can have as a life coach. You have to think new thoughts and create new emotional states for you to make breakthroughs. So it’s not just breaking through one obstacle, but developing a continual habit in your life of growing and making breakthroughs as a consistent part of your life.
The third component is that if you’re going to change something, it has to be emotional. It has to be in your body. Your emotions run your life and govern all the results you create. To create lasting change, you must begin with your emotions. If you have tightness in the pit of your stomach, fear throughout your body or tension in your chest, that’s the exact thing that’s holding you back. You can’t just say affirmations. You have to make it emotional and get it in the cells of your body.
The fourth step is you have to make it a habit. Just like I’ve been saying. Repetition. Conditioning. Little baby steps every day. Consistent. Habit. Your mind is computer. You learn things by repetition. You can learn new thoughts and reprogram your emotions and your body only through consistent repetition. Perfect practice here makes perfect.
The last component is to get help. Get support. You grow the most when you’re in relationship or connection with someone who is where you want to be. You feed from their energy, their way of being, their knowledge. You learn to vibrate emotionally like them. Having a life coach helps out tremendously as you know.
All these things will help you make consistent breakthroughs in your life. The results you want depend on your ability to grow at a consistent and rapid pace. You can do it. Remember, consistent practice. You have to love the practice of being a life coach. Don’t worry about getting results overnight. Just build some momentum by your continual practice.
