Uninhabited islands have been an object of fantasy for the writers, who have crafted many a memorable stories surrounding many such mystical and imaginary islands. The television series by the name of Lost, also has such an island as the epicentre fits the story. The show has had six successful seasons since its start in the year 2004, and has been hailed with much critical acclaim apart from its success. The story revolves around the lives of various individuals and some groups, but the most important ones are those, who have been involved in a plane crash over the Pacific, but have survived and find themselves on an island, which is mysterious in nature and is somewhere in the southern part of the Pacific. The plane crash leads the survivors to the mysterious island and then starts a series of events that is both intriguing and riveting.
