Can It Work?

Thinking about starting up your own home business? Think again. Most home business opportunities will offer you freedom from your job, the chance to be your own boss - to take back your life, spend time with your family, travel to exotic locales and live every dream you have ever imagined. They give you picture perfect examples of those who have gone before you, doing just that, and making more money than you would have any idea what to do with. But is it just that? A dream? An imaginary fairy tale? Or is this a real possibility. Are they right? If you really just put in the time and effort could you succeed?

Chances are, you won't. The statistics tell the dreary story of network marketing opportunities that they themselves will never reveal. 97% of network marketers fail, and most of those don't even break even with their initial investment. All of the money in this industry makes its way to the top elite, while very little seems to slip through the cracks to the new guy on the block. So why bother? And what is the difference between those top elite and those of us who are just starting to make our way through the system? There are a lot of factors that play into this phenomenon, several factors that must be taken into account before all of those dreams can become a tangible reality.

First things first: you have to pick a business. All network marketing has some things in common, but there may be a company that is much more suited to you than the others. Things to take into consideration when choosing a vehicle for your home business are: product, management, compensation, age of the company and recruiting style. Let's look at these all individually. The product is one of the most important aspects of your business. What does the company sell? If you can't get behind the product 100% - if it's not something you would use even without a possibility of making profit, then you won't be good at selling it. You have to be able to get excited about what you have to offer people; without genuine excitement no one will be interested in what you have to say and you yourself will quickly burn out trying to convince others of its potential benefits.

Next, take a look at the management of the company. Is the founder of the company an upstanding citizen and businessman? Does the management have experience in the industry? Who is supportive of their endeavor? Are there any naysayers and what are their criticisms? Also make sure to check out your immediate potential upline. Are they experienced? Are they friendly and willing to help you succeed? The people in the company can make the difference between a company's success and failure, and between your success and failure. Don't leave this important factor up to chance; do your research before you decide.

Compensation is also an obvious indicator of how much money you will actually be able to make with a particular vehicle. Learn as much as you can about a business model before throwing yourself into the midst of it. Many of the compensation plans can get confusing as you get further into the system, but you should be able to understand basically how you will make your money and what you will have to do to get started. Most network marketing companies pay out 24-40% of their profit to the field. You want to find a company that pays out something closer to the forty percent mark, as the more money that goes to the field means the more generous your personal paychecks can become.

Age of the company is another very important aspect to consider. When you hop on board with a company will determine the level of saturation for its market and whether or not you will actually be able to reach the top ranks or whether all prospective recruits have already been taken up in your area. However, getting in on a company too early can be dangerous as many network marketing companies don't make it past their second year. Finding a prelaunch opportunity can be exciting, but you need to realize that it is an investment in a company that may or may not make it.

Finally, recruiting style, and yes each company has its own particular recruiting personality. Of course, many of them can be adjusted to meet your own needs and abilities, but it is important to have a company that is compatible with what you are willing and comfortable with doing. Are you comfortable with hosting parties for families and friends or would you rather concentrate on a cold marketing strategy? Online or offline marketing? Do you have a lot of money to put into your initial business investment or are you starting with a tight budget?

After answering these vital questions and choosing a company that will work for you, the next thing you need to do to put yourself in the top elite of the industry is to learn. This is possibly the most important key. Follow the recruiting style of your upline and those who have been successful in your company; copy it and memorize it. Recruiting is what you get paid for in this business, and to be successful you need to know how to recruit blindfolded in your sleep. This is why it is so important to have a strong, supportive upline; they are the ones who will guide you and mentor you as you learn how to build your business. If your upline is inexperienced, distant, indifferent or uninterested your chance of success is detrimentally affected.

So, is there a chance for you, the new guy on the block, to move up the ranks and truly make your dreams come true? Yes, albeit a small chance, there is a chance. Should you follow that dream and take the leap into the tough industry of running your own home business? That all depends. If you have the commitment and the ability to invest in the opportunity and you can find a business that fits your needs and abilities I say go for it! I did, and personally I don't regret that decision.

The business I chose has a great management team, a helpful and expert upline, the simplest recruiting model I have yet seen (which is good for me as I am not a massive recruiter-type), a unique business model that pays out 50% to the field, and a product that is helping so many live a healthier lifestyle. It is a newer company, only five months old, but I am confident that because of its one-of-a-kind business model and its stellar management team that it will not only succeed but revolutionize this industry. I truly enjoy learning how to work in this industry from my expert team, who is showing me the ins and outs of the business that I had never learned before. If you are considering starting your own home business, do your research. And, if you are looking for a great compensation plan with a simple recruiting style and an excellent upline, feel free to check out this great opportunity: http://thegoldenticket.124online.com/.
