The best time to exercise is really up to your personal preference. Life may throw you lemons, make lemonade. Have you ever experienced this, it is ok we will explain it further. No matter what time of day you work out if you are motivated you will make it work.
If you loathe the idea of working out in the morning we do sympathize with you. However, if you just start doing it what you will discover is your body will make the adjustment. Your body will reset its own clock, and when that happens you will "feel" fine with a hard work-out in the morning. There are many great points in this article about workouts.
The benefits of time are one of the reasons for choosing the best time. We all get short breaks throughout our days and a lunch break too which offer the perfect opportunity for us to take a quick fitness walk. If you can take a break when you want, then that becomes even more convenient for you. Your body becomes better able to respond to exercise as the day progresses. It also tends to follow that if your body prefers fitness activity later in the day, as opposed to early morning, then your mind will be more at ease for it.
Consider this information while thinking about morning routines. No matter what the schedule we choose is our bodies are likely to adapt quickly. It can take a bit of time but not too long. If you are worried that you can't do it, hang in there, don't give up. You will eventually set your internal clock to "habit" mode.
There has to be a healthy balance in our lives we all know that. Life is too busy and hectic. Try to be flexible with yourself. Not quitting is most important. So if that means you exercise in the morning on some days, and then after work on other days - then do that. Only you know what is best for you and what will work for you. So just sit down and figure it all out, and then make a plan that you know you can do and stick with.
That is your best formula for success.
Working during the day offers you extra opportunity for exercise. But if you do not work during the day, then find the optimum time and then stay with it.
