Creating a Landing Page the Right Way

You need to have landing pages that convert if you want to succeed in this business. Frankly, you're wasting your time if you are expecting to make big money online without paying close attention to creating and testing your landing pages until they are making you more and more money. It isn't really difficult to produce a high converting landing page, just takes a bit of know how. Following are a few landing page optimization techniques that are proven to work wonders.
A good example of a good landing page are pay per click landing pages that rank in the first position of a competitive keyword; study these and test some of their methods. This isn't about sparkling graphics and high-end design. Simple landing pages are usually the highest converting. Never forget that your goal is turn as many of your visitors to buyers as you can so you must test different ideas and keep everything as simple as you can for your visitors to do whatever it is you want them to do. Anything more than two columns will confuse the viewer which causes less conversions. Landing pages aren't made to make people say "wow" but to get them to take a desired action. Your objective is to create a non-intrusive landing page that gets results.
Your landing page's copy should consist of short lines. Longer lines can confuse or tire your reader. Books don't have this worry because book readers can always pause their reading and come back to it later. Landing pages, on the other hand, depend primarily on the timing of your writing. This is not a good reason to lose a sale.
12 to 16 words is the optimum width for most main copy columns.
Don't be afraid to create personal portraits. You obviously do not want your copy to focus 100% on you, but you do want to be honest about the stage your business is in, even with your colleagues.
Including a photo of yourself along with a brief biographical statement about your company will help people trust you enough to buy from you. That sense of trust seems impossible to get but it isn't. The best way to get buyers to trust you is to convince them that you are an expert and the best way to do that is to display credentials in your chosen field.
In conclusion, these tips can help you create a very profitable landing page. These are not the only tips that will help you; keep an eye out for other tips that you can find so that your conversion rate will continue to improve. It might take a while before you get to your optimum conversion rate because getting there will involve doing lots of tests and making changes. Eventually all that time will prove to be worth it.
