Chantemerle Apartments
As you may be well aware by now Chantemerle is right slap bang in the middle of the Serre Chevalier ski resort next to the main lifts of the area. This is probably the most sought after place to stay for a Serre Chevalier ski holiday, purely because of the proximity to the lifts. For this reason Chantemerle apartments are always going to be popular. There is a great selection at the moment.
Carole Ward has a nice little studio at Le Bois des Coqs, which is ideal for couples or you can squeeze 4 in if you want to save a few quid. If you are just a couple or even on your own, then Studio Beynon has to be one of the best value for money studio flats in the Chantemerle apartments line up at just 200€/per week. It’s a small studio that is only suitable for 1 or 2 people, but it is superbly located and has a superb location. Next door to Studio Beynon is the Mountain High Seasons apartments which are owned by Jo and Wes – this is a large chalet style apartment that can accommodate 10 people comfortably in 4 bedrooms.
The newly refurbished La Claire Fontaine apartment sleeps 6 very comfortably in 3 bedrooms and now has loads of good stuff in there, such as a dishwasher, washing machine, new electric oven, induction hob, TV and HiFi. This apartment even comes with boardgames and loads of DVDs and CDs.
Let’s also not forget about all the Snowmonkees Chantemerle Apartments that offer all sorts of combinations of sleeping arrangements. These apartments are located just by the Guisane river in the old town of Chantemerle, which is the bit you see just to the right of the bottom of the Luc Alphand piste as you ski down.
The easiest way to find your Serre Chevalier accommodation is to use the ‘Apartment Finder’ which contacts all the owners at once. If they have availability for when you need it, they’ll get back to you – it’s simple but it works.
The most often updated Serre Chevalier website is http://www.serrechevalier.org where you can find out about everything from accommodation to airport transfers.
