It can be difficult for people to remain in shape -especially when they are busy parents on the go! However, there are lots of small things you can do throughout the course of your day so as to help you stay in pristine shape, even

when your entire day does not seem to have any free time for exercise programs or other workouts.

1 - Suck your stomach in. While some people may suck their stomach in when being passed by someone appealing, this is a great maneuver other times as well! While it might seem silly, you could help to keep your stomach toned if

you spend time sucking in your belly when you have to walk. This helps increase your muscles and it doesn't have to be done for too long daily. Every small bit will help, use it when you are able to!

2 - Park your car well away from your goal. When you drive to a retail store, should you have a little bit of extra time, park farther away. By giving your self that little further bit of a walk, it is possible to help with keeping yourself healthy. Attempt to walk quickly when you can as well. This is effective since

you are getting a bit of an cardiovascular workout whenever you would've normally been walking into your goal. This is great for families that do not have time for cardiovascular or high energy exercises throughout the course of their day.

3 - Consider the stairways instead of the escalator. Many people are aware that they can obtain a quick exercise routine if they take the stairs. Nevertheless, when you are going from the ground floor to the 12th floor, this

can seem like excessive - and sometimes it really is. However, try taking the elevator only part way and still taking the stairs for a small bit. This is especially useful and can even save you time if there is a big group on the first

floor. By taking the stairways up several flights to a less crowded spot, you can reduce time out of your wait!

4 - When you're waiting in line or for something, you can tighten the muscles and relax them for a quick physical exercise. This can be done quickly and fairly obscurely, so it can help you to tone up muscle tissue during the day in an easy and effective manner. It can also help to pass time a bit more quickly

while you are waiting since you can be focusing on another thing or another activity aside from just waiting.

5 - Work on your posture. Good healthy posture can go a long way! By simply being consciously aware from time to time of keeping your back straight and maintaining good posture, you can actually be doing a world of good for a

variety of different muscles within your body! Not only will it assist in improving your entire appearance, but it also helps you to keep yourself in good shape, without taking any time out of your busy day! 6 - Walk if you’re not too far. If you have the time, try to walk if you are not too far from your goal. If you need to drive about half a mile, and the weather is nice enough, try walking instead. This can actually even save you time if the route you would be taking while driving is prone to having long

lights. While this is not a great option if you have far to go, try to keep it in mind when your destination is close by!If you would like to know more about Parent Stress and Fitness check out my new book
