The fact is that we as network marketers need leads to survive. Without lots of them we will die, it really is as simple as that. In this article I will be sharing with you a strategy that I use on a daily basis to generate free Network Marketing leads.

You will need to take consistent daily action but you will see the results of your efforts after a week or so. We will be writing informative content that will provide value to our target audience. The reason for doing this is two fold, firstly to provide value to our readers and pre sell ourselves to them, so that they actually WANT to visit our website and opt in for more information from us. Secondly we want to get our content and website listed in the search engines, especially Google, because we can then get a lot of free daily traffic.

To put this technique into action here are some guidelines

1. The first thing to do is to create your own website. You should go for a wordpress blog, this is the easiest and quickest to set up, plus they always do well in the search results. Preferably it should be self hosted (wordpress.org) and will mean you getting your own domain and web hosting account. Personally I think using the free services like blogspot.com and wordpress.com is not the best way to go. It's not as secure and all your work could be wiped out if there was even the smallest problem with your content.

2. You need to capture the details of your visitors to your site, to do this you need to make an opt in box somewhere in your site. You also need a lead magnet. This is essentially a bribe to get your visitor to enter their name and email. It might be a training of some kind or maybe an ebook.

3. Next write an article related to the niche you are targeting, write about a company or offer a 'how to guide' for doing something. The main thing to bear in mind is that it must be giving good quality information to your end user.

4. Check your content and make sure it's correct, you want to avoid spelling and grammar errors as much as possible! Then put it on your website or blog.

5. Then you want to distribute your article to some of the popular article directories. Make sure that you take advantage of the author resource box, this is where you can have one or two links back to your site and the chance to promote yourself.

6. The final part of the strategy is to make a short video that promotes your article. This can be a simple screen capture where you make a brief announcement that you have written a new blog post and giving a few reasons why someone should read it. You are allowing the viewer to get some value from you before they visit your site. You can then upload your video to some of the popular video hosting sites.

If you practise this strategy every day then you will soon be generating traffic and leads for your business. After just a few weeks you will have more content out there than most marketers will ever have.
