You've spent 4 (or more) years working towards one goal: a college online degree. But now that you've achieved it, what's next? We'll take a look at what happens in life after college.

Know that it's OK to feel sad. Graduation is exciting, but it signifies an ending and a loss of what was hopefully a great period in your life. Accept it, take ownership, and move on to getting excited about what's ahead.

Get a job. First things first, it's time to put that online college degrees of yours to work. Make your job search like a full time job. Put in the time and effort to get the payoff you're looking for, using job search tools, social media, networking, and good old fashioned pavement pounding.

If you'd like to stay in school, or you just can't find a job, you may want to look at grad school as an option. You can put off student loan debt, improve your future career chances, and improve your life. Plus, you can put off post-college life just a bit longer.

Stay in touch with friends online. Your college friends are no longer just down the dorm room hall. They may be all over the country or state, but that doesn't mean it's over. Use social networking tools like Facebook to keep up with them and stay in contact. If you can, travel to see them. This is a great time to get out in the world, while you don't have a family and major responsibilities to care for.

Figure out the future of romantic relationships. If you met someone in school, think about what you'd like to do next. Are things pretty serious? Will you still live in the same city? Weigh your options, considering a long-distance relationship or even moving to be together if you really want a future in the relationship.

Pay off your debt. If you've managed to find a job in your post-college life experience degree, put serious effort into wiping out any debt you may have accumulated during your college years. Whether it's student loans, credit cards, or a combination of the two, focus on tackling it so that you can build your credit and wipe the slate clean for the future.

Post-college life can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. With a plan and the right attitude, you can make the adjustment with ease and flourish in your new life.
