A butterfly valve is a kind of valve that is primarily used to isolate or regulate the flow. In this type of valve, a disk like mechanism is used to do the closing. The third type of valve is called Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valves that are also known as Triple Offset Butterfly Valves and in this kind of valve the seats consists of metal or are laminated. In the first instance, the butterfly is designed in a manner that it maintains a seal against the bi-directional pressure to avoid backflow.
