Jersey Shore homes have lots of prime beach locations. There are several ones available for sale, but you have no idea exactly which of these properties are for you. There are lots of Jersey Shore real estate pages or MLS that can help you decide which Jersey Shore homes for sale you want to have but are clueless about what properties are ideal for you and your family.
One of the characteristics that give appeal to homes is the location. Some of us want to live a town life, live near the beach, or live in a city. If you finally decide to live at Jersey shore, you should know how far down the shore you want to go, how you will be commuting, and how much time are you willing to spend while commuting. Here are the usual beach locations in Jersey Shore preferred by most Americans.
Cape May, is the farthest point south on the Shore. It is one of the top 10 US beaches identified at the Travel Channel. It has great beaches and offbeat town centre filled with gingerbread Victorians and interesting bed and breakfasts. If you are the type of person who loves watching shorelines and dolphins, you can bring your binoculars and watch playful dolphins jumping in the wake.
Barnegat in Ocean County is an example of a town-by-the-shore with great schools, access to GSP, close to LBI but not in the middle of shore traffic. This is a town along the shore with community bay beach, boat ramp to the bay and municipal dock for fishing and crabbing. A recreation department supports several activities for the family.
The Ocean City is one of the most visited place along New Jersey's "Southern Shore" and is deliberately arranged for vacationing families' safety and enjoyment. The city's promise of a healthy community is well displayed in its maintained city services, clean, safe beaches and a lot of special events. In an effort to maintain its family-oriented image, it moved away from the nightclub scene, that's why liquor is not purchased within the area. The city is doing its best to give a long range of activities for people of all walks of life, and is successful on every count.
The Highlands near Sandy Hook is the highest point on the eastern seaboard and is located on a hill just across the bay. It offers great seafood restaurants, variety stores and interesting nightlife, with a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. A 40-minute ferry ride is even available from and to New York for easy commute.
Sea Bright is another stretch of beach town homes with great restaurants and bars to chill out. There is truly nothing like having a drink with your feet in the sand. You can choose among two great views in Sea Bright, the bay of the Navesink River and the one of the Atlantic Ocean. This stretch might be surrounded with water but it is till minutes away from Red Bank, a bustling little city inland.
Whatever reason that influences you choice of home, the Jersey Shore area offers wide variety of town beaches that you want for you and your family. It encompasses a large region with many such towns.
