With power, comes freedom and a whole lot of complacency. Yet, power is also the synonym of lethargy and responsibility. If these synonyms are realized, the other positives of power would fade into oblivion. And, this realization does not come easy. The show Wizards of Waverly Place, through its episodes, tries to explain the same thing.
This show focuses itself around three wizard siblings who are blessed with magical abilities. The three develop their skills for a competition that will be held amongst them and the winner would be rewarded with the powers of the other two. And, the biggest twist is that the losers would lose their powers and be forced to lead a normal life after the competition.
Watch Wizards of Waverly Place and see how these kids, blessed with magical powers, lead a normal life, to disguise themselves from other common people. Doing this is one cumbersome task for them as they have to go through the ‘activities of life’ in the usual human ways without using magic.
This is the crux of The Wizards of Waverly Place’s that is explored in its episodes that score with the audience. It portrays how power weakens a man’s will to go through the harder, much tougher ways, which he would have followed under natural circumstances, that is no magic.
The Wizards of Waverly Place episodes are excellently made and portray some of life’s simplest truths in a way so simple and breezy, that it makes it easy to understand the basic message, without overwhelming you with the fact. The siblings are shown struggling to keep their powers secret and often have to go hard in order to carry on with their guise.
The makers of the show have achieved perfection in the way the show is trying to tell the audience that if one is blessed with power, it is not for individual advantage or personal benefits. It is more for the masses, to make life easier for the common man.
By taking kids in the lead roles as protagonists, the show makers have scored brownie points with their innovative thinking as they can easily achieve their purpose. And, at the same time they do not have to go hard on the seemingly boring stuff of morality. The show teaches morality in a fun-filled, exciting way.
Watch Wizards of Waverly Place online to know the difference and what the show is all about, and it will surely engulf you in its world of magic, and would leave you with fun, excitement, lots of magic and a dose of morality.
