Add a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root in a cup of boiling water and let the strong tea for 10 minutes. Then the tea can be consumed.

Fruits like papaya, banana can also be used for a cure for acid reflux.
The almond is a home remedy for acid reflux, which proves to be useful in the treatment of acid reflux. The oil in almonds help neutralize stomach acids. If you regularly suffer from acid reflux, then you may want to try to eat 5 to 6 almonds soaked in the morning every day upon waking.
